GROUPS BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

SEPT 21

UN PEACE DAY

In alignment with the UN Climate Action for Peace
theme for Peace Day this year, we're unifying the peace movement taking action for the week of climate action Sept 20-27th.

On Sept. 21 at 12 noon PDT,

we invite you to join us by attending or organizing
a peace meditation in your region.

THE AMAZON IS STILL ON FIRE

The Amazon Rainforest is the largest carbon capturing landmass on the planet, containing over 80% of the world’s biodiversity.
It has been on fire for over a month, burning millions of acres of rainforest and destroying the homes of hundreds of thousands of indigenous people and native species. Scientists urgently warn that a dangerous tipping point may be near. It’s going to take all of us to stop the devastation and begin restoration before it’s too late.

Please help us:

STOP THE

FIRES

PROTECT

THE FOREST

SUPPORT THE

INDIGENOUS

Join us for a global day of action as we take to the streets and demand that big banks divest from industries that destroy the rainforest.  Sign the petition, join a dance protest, or organize your own.  Our coalition of partner orgs have already committed enough funds to protect over 200 million trees in the Amazon.  Let's do our part, build a movement, flood the streets, and make our voices heard!
